High net worth individuals that are able to land one of these cards may do so by membership only. Once membership is achieved, you will have a variety of perks at your fingertips including a fantastically high credit limit, luxury travel bonuses, and a concierge services specific to your needs.
In addition, the card may not be just any old hunk of plastic. Exclusive credit cards are often constructed out of metal and other materials to extend the one-of-a-kind feel.
Sberbank Visa Infinite Gold Card
Want to carry around a real piece of gold in your wallet? Then get your hands on a Sberbank Visa Infinite Gold Card, definitely a contender for the title of most exclusive credit card in the world. The physical card features mother of pearl and 26 inlaid diamonds. Not bad, eh? Kazakhstan’s Sberbank Visa Infinite Gold card issues the credit card to only 100 of its top clients.
The card costs $100,000 up front. After clients pay the upfront cost, $65,000 of the fee goes to minting the actual card. The bank puts the other $35,000 into your account. There is also a $2,000 annual fee.
So, what do you get with the Sberbank Visa Infinite Gold Card? You receive $250,000 in life and health insurance, 24/7 concierge service and a personal financial manager at Sberbank. You will also receive VIP access to luxury vacations and access to the world’s best golf courses.
Coutts Silk Credit Card
The Coutts Silk Credit Card is issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and is the official card of the British Royal Family. To receive a Coutts Silk Credit Card, you will need to be able to invest up to £1 million in assets to RBS.
As a Coutts Silk Credit Cardholder, you will receive no annual fees or foreign transaction fees. In addition, cardholders can enter airport lounges around the world courtesy of LoungeKey. The Coutts loyalty program will give you access to a variety of events and a direct line to a 24/7 concierge service.
Centurion® Card from American Express
The Centurion® Card from American Express isn’t a credit card carried by just any wealthy individual. Known in wealthy circles as “The Black Card”, it is claimed that cardholders must have spent and paid off around $250,000 on their American Express account in a solitary year just to be eligible to receive one.
You will also need to pay a membership fee of $7,500 to get the ball rolling. The card comes with a $2,500 annual fee. What you receive in from American Express is a card without a spending limit. Perks include luxury treatment at Centurion airport lounges, gifts, reservations at some of the world’s top restaurants, and other travel benefits not advertised.
J.P. Morgan Reserve Card
The J.P. Morgan Reserve Card looks special and that is because it is. Made of palladium, which is worth around $1,295 an ounce, the reserve card is given out by invitation only. To receive one, you must have a minimum of $10 million in assets being managed by J.P. Morgan Private Bank. The Reserve Card is exclusive and only multi-millionaires and billions have it in their wallets.
Cardholders will pay an annual fee of $595. What you get in return is unlimited access to airport lounges in select locations, three-times the points on travel and dining, a $300 annual credit for travel, a credit for a Global Entry or TSA Precheck application and a number of premium travel protections keeping you out of the cold. The card also come with 24/7 customer service access.
Dubai First Royale Mastercard
All that glitters is gold and diamonds when it comes to the Dubai First Royale Mastercard. Looking over the card, your eyes will be quickly fixed on the 0.235-carat diamond in the center of the card. Its gold trim adds even more touches of luxury. The Dubai First Royale Mastercard is an exclusive card carried by the elite of the United Arab Emirates Royal Family. It is also a card used by high net worth individuals in the Middle East and is a definite contender for the title of Worlds most exclusive credit card.
As other cards on this list, you can only get your hands on a Dubai First Royale Mastercard by invitation. The initial membership fee is $1,900 and you will only get to pay that fee if you are ultrawealthy. The card does not have a credit limit but it is claimed that it doesn’t offer as many perks as the others on this list.
Eurasian Diamond Card Visa Infinite
The Eurasian Diamond Card Visa Infinite is offered by the Eurasian Bank based in Kazakhstan. The card is a beauty as it comes with a 0.02-carat diamond in the center. There is also inlaid gold on the card adding to its look.
You cannot just simply apply for the card, as you may have guessed. Cardholders must be recommended by Eurasian Bank’s management board before they can go through the application process. You can also be recommended by two existing Eurasian Diamond Card Visa Infinite holders. Your annual card fee can run up to $1,185. The amount in annual fees depends on your balance with the Eurasian Bank.
Cardholders receive a variety of perks for being a client, including exclusive hotel bookings, private plane reservations, butler service, and much more as you would expect by being on the list of most exclusive credit card in the world.
